The team of the Universitat Jaume I at the Inter-University Chair of New Green Transition organised last March and April a competition aimed at Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students of the 5 Valencian public universities. The goal was to promote awareness and social action in the climate field in a creative, educational and stimulating way for students, taking advantage of the explanatory, collaborative and visual potential of video games.

The winners have already been announced. The first prize of €500 goes to Nashville. The second prize goes to Iridescent and will receive €300. Finally, the third prize goes to the video game Elisa y el cambio climático. Fourth and fifth place go to Plastic O’Clock and Lotus respectively, who have received special recognition for their good work.

All of the highly original projects presented have taken us from futuristic worlds where humanity is almost extinct to the most everyday situations in which we can all identify with.

Thank you very much for your participation and for raising awareness in such a creative and entertaining way!
