Green employment is another of the challenges facing companies if they want to be truly sustainable. Forética, a leading Spanish business organisation in sustainability, has launched the third edition of the ‘Jobs 2030′ project, together with ManpowerGroup and the collaboration of the ONCE Foundation and PRISA.
The aim of this initiative is to address the challenges of the just transition to green jobs, both in the public and private spheres. The project will develop a ‘Business Starter Kit’ to enable any organisation to adapt to the transition without leaving anyone behind. It should be noted that this shift towards a sustainable economy will generate employment in a large number of sectors.
