From 17 to 30 June, the Interuniversity Institute through the ERI Sustainability of the University of Valencia held an International Seminar on Territory and Environmental Education in collaboration with the University of Quindío of Colombia. This activity arises as a result of the activities carried out by the ERI of Sustainability with the Colombian University with which there is a collaboration agreement. The seminar was attended by the team of the Chair of New Green Transition at the UV, led by Aurora Pedro.

The inauguration was given by Professor José Manuel Rodríguez Victoriano of the ERI Sustainability, on behalf of the Instituto López Piñero, and was coordinated by Professors Javier García Gómez and Ignacio García Ferrándis by the UV and Professors Lígia Janeth Molina Rico and Alba Leonilde Suárez Arias of the University of Quindío.

Professors from the aforementioned institutions and other Colombian universities, such as the Technological University of Pereira and Cauca, and Honduras, as well as the Department of Didactics of Experimental and Social Sciences, Social Work and Tourism, will take part. topics such as “Rural Women and the Coffee Cultural Landscape”, “Social and Cultural Representations of Teachers’ Water”, “Territorial Training from Higher Education”, “Tourism and the Environment” or “Territorial Transformations and Ecosystem Services in Armenia (Quindío-Colombia) ”.

In addition, field activities were scheduled in the Horta de València and the Devesa de l’Albufera, to address the issue of the territory from a didactic point of view.
