The team of the New Green Transition Chair at the Polytechnic University of Valencia organizes next June the Second Edition of the course Design and System Thinking tools for the ecological transition.

The course is aimed at master’s or doctoral students who are interested in expanding their knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies for innovation in the field of ecological transition.

The objective of the course is for university students to learn to use Design and System Thinking tools for the integration of the ecological transition in their training and research activities, understanding the concepts of ecological transition and just transition. For the development of the course, the participatory learning methodology based on projects will be used. During the course, the virtual platform created by the European project Virtual Hackatons will be used.

The course will be taught in a blended manner, combining face-to-face sessions with access to digital content during flexible hours. The face-to-face sessions will take place on June 14 and 16 in the afternoon, and on June 17 in the morning and afternoon.

The main objective of the New Green Transition Chair is to develop research, teaching and dissemination activities on strategies and public policies in the area of ​​fair ecological transition and the fight against climate change. Promoted by the Second Vice Presidency and the Ministry of Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture of the Generalitat Valenciana, the Chair has the participation of the five Valencian public universities.
