The Chair of the New Green Transition will participate in the conference Supramunicipal Experiences in Urban Solid Waste Management, that is going to be held on Thursday 25th in Alzira (Valencia), in the House of Culture. It is organised by the Mancomunity of Ribera Alta.

Aurora Pedro, director of the Chair at the University of Valencia, will be the member of the Chair who will participate with her paper Sustainability as a process of transformation. Actions and responsibilities. The aim of this conference is precisely to try to improve the sustainability of municipalities from a supra-municipal perspective, sharing experiences in this area in order to improve together the management of solid urban waste.

In addition to Aurora Pedro’s presentation, there will also be round tables, which will deal with topics such as new scenarios in waste management, education, environmental communication and new technologies in MSW collection systems, sustainable agriculture or efficiency or solid waste management, among others.

If you are a technician or representative of public administrations and you are interested in attending, you can sign up for free here. Limited capacity!
