Aurora Pedro, director of the Inter-University Chair of New Green Transition at the University of Valencia, will participate in the forTUR programme of the 6th Tourism Forum by moderating a round table. Specifically, it is about Green Transition in Tourism: the challenges of decarbonisation, which will take place on Monday 27 September from 12:30h to 14:00h and can be followed online at the following link.
The round table will be attended by Jaume Mata, from Visit Valencia, the Head of the Tourism Sustainability Area, Juan Luis Pozo from Global Omnium and Director of the Corporate Sustainability Area – CISO and finally Arturo Crosby, Director of Forum Natura.
This Forum is held on the occasion of World Tourism Day, set by the United Nations on 27 September. The aim is to consolidate the Valencian University’s Faculty of Economics and its undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies in Tourism as an academic benchmark in the sector. It also seeks to familiarise students with the most relevant companies and institutions in the tourism sector, and to make them discover the most recent areas of reflection and research.
