This Thursday 5 October Valencia Plaza and BBVA bank will hold a conference entitled ‘Investing by promoting a greener and more inclusive world’, in which they will demonstrate how ESG criteria (environmental, social and governance aspects), are increasingly relevant in the world of finance. Investing under environmental, sustainable and good governance principles is now almost mandatory and is not incompatible with good profitability.

According to Ximo Raga, head of BBVA’s Eastern Territory Private Banking, “decarbonisation is key to reducing carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere and achieving the objectives of the Paris Agreement […] This is materialised through advice and the creation of financial solutions to help customers in their green transition […]”.

The conference will be led by Ximo Raga and will take place at the Hotel Balneario Las Arenas de València.
