The right to the city and the rights of nature are emerging as a new category of human rights, so a critical and proactive analysis and reflection on the change of constitutional / normative paradigm that may involve the regional, state and European. This paradigm shift that the green transition entails must be analyzed taking into account the permanent transversality of the gender perspective and that, in the same way, the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda emphasize mainly the need to advance gender equality, not only because it is a fundamental human right, but also because it is the necessary basis for promoting sustainable economies that benefit society as a whole.
Specifically, it is up to the UA, through the Chair of New Green Transition, to carry out the following activities:
1. To carry out, in the first place, an activity of analysis, and critical reflection on the change of constitutional / normative paradigm with a gender perspective, as well as the most effective procedures to advance in these rights, in the terms indicated above. .
2. Facilitate, in addition, diverse activities, such as seminars, days, conferences, contests, exhibitions, studies, workshops, courses; training and university extension activities; as well as other cultural activities that are agreed related to the theme of the Chair and the Second Vice-Presidency and the Department of Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture.
3. Carry out outreach work throughout the Valencian territory and through the information technology of the activities of the Chair and the specific topics related to the work of the Chair and the Second Vice-Presidency and the Department of Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture, as well such as the publication of those writings that may be of interest to both.
4. And also all the different actions that are agreed to be carried out within the program of activities to be developed approved annually by the Joint Commission.
