The Sustainability Forest of the Universitat Jaume I has grown incorporating four beech trees from the Retaule of the mountains of ‘Los Puertos de Beceite’. The presentation event, which in other years had incorporated university volunteering, has seen limited participation due to the Covid-19 pandemic to the vice-rector for Students and Social Commitment, Inmaculada Rodríguez Moya, and the director at the UJI of the Interuniversity Chair of New Green Transition, Eva Camacho Cuena, along with OCDS technician David Juan Marino and on behalf of the Asociación Amics de Palanques its president, Pedro Moratalla and forestry engineer David Molinos. The event coincided with the fifth anniversary of the proclamation by the United Nations General Assembly of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
