The Valencian Fund for Solidarity has organized the day Building the future we want. Educational resources for sustainable development (programa), which will take place in Castelló on Wednesday 3 November in the afternoon as part of the In / Sustainable project. The session will be attended by the director of the Interuniversity Chair in New Green Transition at the University of Valencia, Aurora Pedro, with the presentation Sustainable universities and the importance of the 2030 Agenda in the field of education, from 5.15 pm.
The day will begin at 5 pm with the presentation, by Álvaro Escorihuela, Councilor for Sustainability and Ecological Transition of Vila-real City Council; Patricia Puerta, Vice-President of the Castellón Provincial Council and Provincial Deputy for the Social Action Area and Carmen Ribera Soriano, Councilor for Social Welfare, Dependency, Children and Cooperation of Castelló City Council. Then, and after the intervention of Pedro, there will be a round table of experiences with the title Sustainability: a necessary and transversal bet in the educational field, with Susana Sorlí, technician of Sustainability and Environingingment of the City council of ‘Almassora; Virginia Gavaldà, from CEIP Lope de Vega de Nules; Mónica Chanzá, Sustainability Coordinator at IES Serra d’Irta in Alcalà de Xivert and José Maria Sanchís, CEFIRE Adviser (CTEM). At 7.15 pm, an interactive tour of the IN / SUSTAINABLE exhibition. A path to sustainability will lead to the closing (7.45 pm), which will include a wine of honor with local products.
