Agustín Pérez, director of the Interuniversity Chair of New Green Transition at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche and deputy vice-rector for Social Innovation and Patronage, as well as a member of the group ‘Research in the development of the current company’, participated on November 26 in the conference Towards an Artificial Intelligence by and for society, with the aim of showing how AI can contribute to facing challenges in areas such as health, education, climate change, leisure, consumption or banking services, among others. Nuria Oliver, an AI expert, participated in the conference.

Pérez presented together with the researcher Alejandro Rabasa the presentation Research and Development at the UMH: AI applied to social issues and green transition.
